Great for kids ages 2-6
When you can better understand what your child's brain is designed to do
It shifts your perspective completely.
By recognizing that your child’s brain is wired for safety and fully depends on you for survival, you can better assess their needs. Their behavior reflects an instinct to seek security, not to challenge you.
Understanding how their brain processes emotions allows you to see moments of stress as opportunities to provide comfort and reassurance. This mindset shift helps you respond with patience, strengthening their emotional resilience and fostering a confident, emotionally secure child.
Playfulness
is a child's
love language
“I want to see if you can hop on one leg all the way to the dinner table”
“Want to breathe like a bunny with me?”
“Can you do this dance move while you pick up your toys?”
Playfulness creates a positive emotional environment that activates the brain’s ability to follow instructions and solve problems without feeling overwhelmed or pressured.
This guide offers simple, playful language to turn everyday moments into opportunities for connection. By using fun and engaging words, you’ll make daily routines feel so much more enjoyable, helping your small child feel more excited to get involved and cooperate.

CUSTOMER REVIEW:
"The Empowered Toddler Guide is so JAM packed with such great information. It can be read through all at once or broken down into the pieces you’re struggling with.
I love that Ashlee thought of all different parts of our day. Bedtime is often a struggle for us because we have so much to get done before bed. I love that the guide gives a playful but productive perspective on bedtime routines with choices where they are allowed and playful ideas for transitions.
The Empowered Toddler guide is one I will continue to consume when feeling stuck and share with my partner to help us model healthy social and emotional development with our toddler. I enjoy that we have so many key phrasing ideas in this guide to help us get the concepts down and put them in our pockets for later!"

CUSTOMER REVIEW:
"Sooo it's AMAZING! So much helpful information! Would have been nice to have something like this before I took all the online courses, read the books, and done all the research too. And this will help a lot of parents who don't have time or money to do all those things.
I tried animal breathing tonight with my 5 year old (she was freaking out and about to have a tantrum) and then asked her questions about the animal breathing and it worked! She wanted butterfly and unicorn breaths. It was awesome!"

I was a painfully shy child, and as I grew up, I struggled to keep up in school, always feeling like the “dumb one.” Making friends and finding confidence to be myself was a constant challenge. Then I had kids and realized we all need to believe in ourselves on a much deeper level in order to live from a place of joy, not fear.
When my son faced social and separation anxiety, I made it my mission to find the right words and strategies to help him feel empowered, brave, and more in tune with his emotional needs so he can express them in a healthy way.
The Empowered Toddler is a culmination of everything I’ve learned from parenting books, trusted child psychologists, conscious parenting thought leaders, my education from UC Santa Barbara, and my 15-year passion for self-improvement, yoga, and mindfulness practices. I wrote this guide to share these tools with other parents who want to help their toddlers grow emotionally strong and confident.
I’m passionate about discovering creative and engaging ways to explain things to children, capturing their attention in a way that resonates with how they naturally learn and explore the world around them.

The beautiful thing about the toddler stage is the beginning of them becoming little human beings. They are experiencing the world around them in a new way and discovering they have an inner voice that holds power.
Let's guide and nurture that voice from the very beginning and get your toddler to want to cooperate.
Simple tweaks in language can be lifechanging
